These Rapture Christians must be so disappointed this morning to find they are still here. If you know one, do go up to him, give him a big hug, and say, "So you were wrong in your prediction. Never mind, it's not the end of the world. . ."
Very Good draw for Murray! Melzer is so hit and miss he could probably beat Nadal on a very good day and lose to someone outside the top 100 on a bad one! He has so much variety its like playing a Santoro.
Should Andy win tomorrow he would play (LL) Simone Bolleli (ITA) WR 126 who beat Dancevic in 4 sets today. Also in Andy's section is potential R32 opponent, the 26th seed Raonic, has been dumped out in 4 sets by Berrer. Hopefully all of this will by relevant!
A few quick (useless by kind of fun) facts about Muzza's opponent today.
As I mentioned before, Prodon has never lost to a Brit (apart from a w/o win for Alan Mackin in week 4 of a Satellite in Italy 7 years ago, when Prodon had won the previous two weeks' events) but both Dan Cox and GB no 29 Jack Carpenter managed to inflict 1st set bagels on him last year before going down in three sets!
He is 10-0 v Brits in seniors, and you can add a few more wins in juniors in the late 1990s. In fact, he was once world junior no. 3 and at Eddie Herr in 1998, he beat Aucks in R1 before taking two much bigger scalps (Roger Federer in R3 and Guillermo Coria in the SFs) on his way to the Final, where he was finally stopped by David Nalbandian.

Aargh - ITF only lets you check 10 years at a time, I hadn't realised he was so old at the time and didn't check any further back - should have twigged when I noticed he played juniors in the late 1990s!

L64: (4) Andy Murray WR 4 v (LL) Simone Bolelli ITA WR 126 (CH 36 in 2009)
H2H 2-0, 6-0 2-1 ret @ Madrid 2008 (hard), 7-6(9) 6-4 @ Madrid 2009 (clay)
Bolelli won the Rome Challenger earlier this month, lost to Veic (who beat Cuevas by ret yesterday) in the FQR here then beat Dancevic in R1 yesterday.

It was nice to see Stephane Robert winning yesterday....he was a futures Brit basher for a long time....recall seeing Evans beating him. A late developer into CH and now a GS match winner. Well done him.
