The scores are up, though the link to match stats for Liam's match isn't working at present. Liam won 6-7(2) 7-6(0) 2-0 rtd. Next up he has a chance to avenge Luke's defeat to the in-form Frenchman, who has won through 3 tight matches
Might be a record for total number of British victories by retirement or walkover in a week (singles/doubles). Winning the title would be a big plus, given that Liam hasn't got a big singles title yet. The one time he played Smola before on clay he lost in straights, so hope he learned from that.
should put liam 17th in the rankings come monday, still not his career high, but looking good in juniors as well as seniors right now. on to bournemouth next week!!
looking foward to the junior slams this year, morgan , golding, broady, all should think they have a chance of a slam, as well as edmund the suprise package lurking

An excellent week from Liam - I mean, if you're going 'waste' time on junior events, you might as well win them
Juan-Carlos Ferrero won this event in 1997, 6 years before he won the title at Roland Garros. A host of lesser players have won it too, many of whom went on to make it into the top 100.
