Boys & Girls: IX Open ITF Junior Pilar De La Horadada, Spain - Grade 2 (Week 15)

Deja vu for Josh Ward-Hibbert as he draws the Spaniard who comfortably beat him last week. He's joined by Sotogrande Academy compatriot Rob Carter, who has a good draw, and Sam Hutt, who doesn't - going from top seed at Nottingham to playing the top seed here.

Boys R1 (L32)

(1) Andres Artunedo Martinavarr (ESP) v Sam Hutt (GBR)

Joshua Ward-Hibbert (GBR) v (6) Oriol Roca Batalla (ESP)

(5) Robert Carter (GBR) v (WC) Carlos Tajes Alonso (ESP)

Girls R1 (L32)

Paula Mocete-Talamantes (ESP) v Emma Devine (GBR)

Playing Spaniards on clay for most Brits is a bit like running onto a 1-2 combination punch - if the first doesn't get you the second will cry

Ignacio Gonzalez Muniz (ESP) d. (5) Robert Carter (GBR) 6-3 6-1
