What a relief! w00t.gif  Finally getting his first win of the year under his belt must give his confidence a bit of a boost - one assumes...  He faces the 16th seed, Gilles Simon, in the third round.

Well a win's a win and Andy's not had one of them for a while.  And at least I presume he managed to get off Court Central at Monte Carlo without being booed and whistled which hapened after his thrashing by Kohlschreiber last year.

Think the match with Simon will tell us much more.  Simon has followed up a  6 - 3   6 - 2  win against Belluccis with a  6 - 3   6 - 4  win over Montanes

( I hope noone noticed that I wrote Simon's ranking wrong at first     wink  )

Second up in the afternoon session on the Court central again tomorrow.  I agree with you, Indy, that the match will be a better measure of how things stand than today's. pray.gif
