L32: (3/WC) Andy Murray WR 4 v (WC) Radek Stepanek (CZE) WR 68 or Marcos Baghdatis (CYP) WR 26
The first seed he could meet is (16) Simon. He's in the same quarter as (8) Monfils and (not that it's likely to matter with a draw like that on clay) the same half as Rafa.

3-1 v Stepanek - Radek won their last meeting in Paris in 2009 1-6 6-3 6-4, before that Andy had won 7 sets out of 7. 1-3 v Baggy - but Muzza's lone win came on clay at RG last year. 4-1 v Simon - Gilles won their first meeting on clay in 2007, Andy's wins include Hamburg 2008 on clay, so they are 1-1 on that surface. 3-2 v Monfils - also 1-1 on clay, their first two meetings in 2006. 4-9 v Rafa - including two straight sets defeats on clay.

'Twill be "Ugly Mug"in the second round after he beat Baggy by 3-6 6-1 7-6(7) this afternoon. Arguably the better option, given Andy's recent record agin Baggy...
I have never recovered from the prospect of a Stepanek - Hingis offspring.
I used to have nightmare about that........
You ain't the only one, Armchair!
I once wrote a 'poem' about that - it even got 'published' by Sheddie. (*) The last verse (the relevant one to your nightmares) went:
"Their offspring, half vampire, half horse Could hit tennis balls with some force But when out on the grass They fell flat on their arse They'd been bred to play hard courts, of course!"
Still, I suppose you have to have a sneaking admiration (or, er, not!) for someone who can get Czech DC crowds (not to mention female tennis players of Czech extraction) into such a frenzy despite looking like that. Radek's a bit of a legend really!
