Since I see no thread for this, I have started one with the info on Eleanor Dean that Phil found :

L32 :  (WC) Tess Sugnaux (SUI)  beat  Laura Deigman   6 - 4   6 - 4

L16 :  (WC) Eleanor Dean  beat  (4) Stephanie Wagner (GER)   6 - 3   6 - 4

QF  :  (WC) Eleanor Dean  vs  Zuzanna Maciejewska (POL) 


Eleanor and Laura are also both in the doubles draw with separate partners.

Good spot. I was aware of Laura's defeat, but hadn't considered the possibility of a British wildcard here so didn't look further doh.gif

Her route to the final is blocked by second seed Petra Rohanova, one of the top 1995 girls at under 14 level, though she hasn't progressed as fast as Khromacheva and Putintseva

Disappointingly Eleanor hasn't reached the projected semi with Rohanova, though she will play her in the doubles quarters

Eleanor and her partner Siniakova (CZE) beat the no 1 seeds in the QFs   7 - 5   6 - 7 (4)   15 - 13  !!   However they lost their semi  6 - 4   6 - 3

Laura and partner lost in R1 in a  10 - 5  MTB to the pair that beat Eleanor and partner in the SFs.
