Just noticed that Donald Young and Alex Bogmolov Jr lost yesterday in the final qualifying round of Houston. Sigh. The one good thing about Mr Murray's losses to both of them (apart from the fact that it is nice for them!) is that they are so out of character that they can, assuming he recovers, be safely consigned to the past. (ie Lots of close losses to top players would actually be more worrying? At least you can emerge from a major funk and say -- that was awful, now it's over.)
You planning on lending your services as a sports psychiatrist ?
And I go back to my first point. What does a coach actually do?
You see the thing is, with respect, I don't think that any of you really know. You just want a Messiah to come along and rescue our hero. And somehow Vallverdu doesn't quite fit the bill as a Messiah ...
Chill out. Andy's a top 5 player going through a sticky patch which will PROBABLY resolve itself, with or without a Messiah.
Following our man's third demolition job in succession at Monte Carlo, can I modestly propose myself as "Tennis Pundit of the Year"?
Yes, obviously the journos were getting excited about (ahem) Ivan Lendl, and (oh yawn) Darren Cahill. But we all know that journos know Jack Sh*t.
But I must say I expected better of you guys ....

No, quite a few of the journos (not all) know a lot, I'm sure. It's just that a headline saying Lendl/Cahill/Sampras/Tony Wilding/whoever would sell much more than an article which is more relevant to the present situation.
