The climax of the Latin American circuit sees Kyle Edmund again with a favourable draw against a wildcard who lost to Toby Martin recently. Luke Bambridge has to tackle a seed, albeit one who lost to Kyle three weeks ago.

(11) Benjamin Ugarte (CHI) v Luke Bambridge (GBR) (8) Kyle Edmund (GBR) v (WC) Pedro Guimaraes (BRA)
bambo only one in action today, intrestingly bambo is 8th seed in the doubles, and kyle isnt involved in the doubles at all. Either means he is going to put everything into a deep run in the second grade A of the year. Or fatigue is catching up with him, and we should expect another quite week from him, we shall see
Kyle came through only surrendering 3 games, so good sign for the week, big points available, I was actually looking at tommorows oop where Luke is in action
Luke was beaten but not discraced in singles, and continues in doubles. Kyle plays his second round match this evening, and will be favourite to progress against another 1995 boy

(11) Benjamin Ugarte (CHI) d. Luke Bambridge (GBR) 7-6(4) 6-4 (8) Kyle Edmund (GBR) d. (WC) Pedro Guimaraes (BRA) 6-2 6-1
Kyle gets his maiden Grade A quarter-final, the points from which should secure him entry into all the remaining Grand Slams this year. His next opponent upset the Brazilian number 2 seed today, which will probably mean that Kyle will not be scheduled on the streamed court tomorrow.
R3
(8) Kyle Edmund (GBR) d. Kevin Kaczynski (GER) 2-6 6-3 6-2
My guess about the oop proved wrong. Kyle plays the fourth match on the streamed court. The previous match (Diego Hidalgo against Bruno Sant'Anna) is currently 2-2 in the second set, so Kyle could be on in anything upwards of 30 minutes. Luke has managed to reach his first Grade A semi in doubles - a win tonight could be enough to take him into the top 100
Doubles semi
(1) Dellien / Hidalgo (BOL/ECU) v (8) Bambridge/Lama (GBR/CHI)
Kyle repeats his victory against the Czech in Australia earlier in the year, and is now the lowest seed left. His next opponent won the Paraguay Grade 1 but lost to Luke last week.

(8) Kyle Edmund (GBR) d. Adam Pavlasek (CZE) 6-3 6-2

(6) Thiago Moura Monteiro (BRA) v (8) Kyle Edmund (GBR)
It helps to have a priest on your side The final is fourth on, so the stream will probably be turned off. However Kyle's semi is the second match and looks sure to be streamed (link above), with a Brazilian opponent. The first match is a girls semi (Khromacheva v Bouchard) which starts at 1pm GMT
