. . .which varies, according to which report you read, between fatigue/tendinitis in shoulder/unspecified medical problem. Makes a change from the knees, I suppose.
So, his first opponent is Nalbandian, who leads their H2H 2-1. The two that Nalby won were in 2005 at Wimbledon, when Andy was just a rookie, and here in Paris in 2008. Andy won their last encounter 6-2 6-2 this year on his way to the Toronto title.
Nasty first match when his opponent has already had a match to get used to the surface.
The match is third on court tomorrow, with play starting at 10.30 Paris time, 9.30 here in the Uk. So, around lunchtime. And what is the only time tomorrow I have to be out of the house? Yeah, you guessed it. . .
Andy is last on tomorrow: after Fed v Steps, which should start at 7.30 (6.30 UK time).
I hope the Fed match is quick and so is Andy, as I go out at 10pm (yes I know it's weird) so he had better get it finished before that!
His opponent is Marin Cilic: Andy leads the H2H 4-1, Marin's one win that shock one at the USO 2 years ago, when we later found out Andy was struggling with a wrist problem. The only snag is that apparently he had a problem with the wrist again today - so I have fingers, arms, legs, eyes and everything possible crossed for him!
Andy on night duty tomorrow. His match vs Cilic follows on after the Fed vs Stepanek match which is scheduled for not before 7.30 pm ( 6.30 pm GMT )
Cilic's recent form not great though interestingly just lost to Nalby 4 - 6 6 - 4 6 - 4 in Basel L16 last week and seems Andy had to play pretty well today to get the better of Nalby.
OK : Guess you got some of that 5 seconds earlier

As I said just a day or two ago, it's incredible how often it happens that nobody posts on a thread for hours, then two people post the same thing at the same time. . .
