Living in Canada this is torture to watch. First I tell my fiance that it wont take too long (Its labor day weekend over here), then the channel stops showing the coverage because of contractual reasons. Now Im watching it on the Net without commentary (I had Connors and McEnroe before) and my fiance isnt talking to me. He better win
I have to say that I don't think I have ever been more disappointed by an Andy Murray defeat as I am by this one. While we have to acknowledge that Wawrinka played well I am simply at a loss to explain what happened to Andy today. The emotional control and tactical certaintity that we have seen recently were badly lacking. He never looked comfortable on court or entirely sure with his game plan.
I think it is safe to say that this is going to hurt like hell and I can only hope he gets over it quicker than he did his defeat in Australia.
I don't know.....just so disappointed by that defeat.....I watched it and the whole way through I thought Andy would win....I think Andy could have been more aggressive, but what do I know? I just felt like he was waiting for Wawrinka to make a mistake rather than forcing Wawrinka into an error or hitting a winner....I don't know.....just so disappointed.
I thought Wawrinka had as good a chance as anyone in Andy's quarter....but I confess, I thought he would win today and am disappointed.....I hope nothing is wrong with him.

There were times I wanted him to be more aggressive but I don't think this was his biggest problem today. Tactically he was poor in so many ways that it is hard to comprehend. For much of the match I didn't feel like I was watching a Murray match.
Normally after a defeat for Andy you have a good idea what has gone wrong. Today it is hard to work out exactly what happened out there.
