Andy coming across as miserable as I have seen him in his post match presser, hopefully a good sign. I would think Andy should be the night match, however when he could do with it middle of next week, when it gets much hotter again, he probably won't.
Just watched his press conference ( http://www.usopen.org/en_US/interactive/video/index.html?promo=subnav&category=press ) That I thought was very poor for the most part by Andy. Yes, I am sure they can be a hastle to go through and that was the image he showed that it was a hastle, that he was bored and just getting it done with, that possibly more than he was actually miserable although I can see that being portrayed.
It hardly does anything for his image of the dour and yes miserable guy where I am sure we have all seen and heard him at times being quite chattiy and he has a pretty keen mind and a sort of laconic wit.
He could portray himself better with just a little more effort which he certainly didn't seem to be bothered to do there. If anyone was told to act bored they couldn't have done much better !
I remember how good he was in interviews with Laura after Hopman Cup games back in January when they played off a bit against each other like pretending not to like each other and I saw some pleasant mention and slight surprise about this in the press then.
Here, just at one point when he was asked about what winning the US open would do for Rafa's overall legacy in the game, he suddenly smiled and said "well, I hope he doesn't", the room laughed, and for just a moment there was a totally different atmosphere. OK, he's never likely to be a Roddick but try lightening the mood a bit more often, Andy !
OK, I know Andy ( like some others ) has been misreported in the press before, but to my mind he can and should give more to a PC than that.
Please do better, Andy !

We have ground tickets tomorrow which also get you on Armstrong so should be able to watch Andy live
Got a re-sale ticket just as he began the comeback against Gasquet at Wimbledon a few years ago but this will hopefully be the first match I will have seen in duration.
Yeah, it should be good. There were some great quotes in the paper here regarding the fighting from a couple of old English women who claimed they feared for their lives and would stick to Wimbledon in the future.
Not sure where to head for first though, Golding's match or Nalbandian - Verdasco...
