Week 35 - US Open men's main draw

Clijsters is up by a set and a break so Andy could be on court fairly soon.

I was watching on the first link on livescorehunter.com until it rained. . . they are showing a recording of Sam Stosur's earlier match, but say they will go straight back to Andy when they restart.

It has stopped raining so hopefully they will be back out fairly soon.

EDIT: They are warming up again.

But yes, some of the US scheduling you just have to love NOT, most particularly the TV orientated men's semis on Saturday followed by final on Sunday.  Oh, when will we schedule them not to have a day's break, ah yes, before a hugely important Grand Slam Final !

Actually I don't have a problem with that scheduling arrangement. It is the same for both players so no one gains a major advantage.

Besides if you can't handle playing back to back five set matches on consecutive days I don't think you deserve to win a Grand Slam.

Although it's not my major dislike, I would say the finalist who plays the second match the day before is at some disadvantage.  Not as bad though as when I believe the schedule used to have one men's semi after the women's final, possibly a night match ?   Now that was ridiculous.

It's more it would just probably produce a better match overall if they did both have a day between the semis and the final.

Very difficult playing a player so unorthodox and unpredictable. But even if Dreddy nicks this first set I doubt if he can take 3 off Andy.

And it's Andy who nicks it 7-5!

No! Don't go! I'm here! Sorry that I'm late to the party! I didn't even know Andy had a match today, I've been so busy with everything else.
