It basically means kidology,  that he's not as bad as he's making out.

ESPN are waiting for a sudden reanaissance in this 3rd set .  They'll be waiting !!

Wow now Cliff D and Patrick Mac are talking about how Andy has to play so many midday games as the TV people in England want him playing in the middle of the day, early evening there, so you lot can watch him instead of night matches when you are all sleeping.....a little sympathy for Andy now....

Do they make stuff up as they go along ?

Taking it easy, that he is not really hurt etc. I don't think they were saying that was the case today, just that other players know he does it and grabs and pulls in between points maybe suggesting an injury, but when the point begins he is fine etc....

Clive and Patrick commentate on the majority of big tennis events over here.

Loses the second set 1-6. For goodness' sake, Andy, just retire! What is the point of making yourself even more ill?

Oh come off it Mad. He isn't a wimp like Djokovic who retires just because he is in a little pain or discomfort.

My worry is that when you are in such discomfort and not moving well that you are quite liable to do yourself an injury.

That's more of a worry to me than any lingering effects of heat exhaustion.

Even if he wins this match two more day matches in extreme heat against even tougher opponents is what's in store. Best to give this one up and be 100% for Flushing Meadows.

That is not attitude of champion.

Would Federer or Nadal ever think like that?

Federer fans alway claim he has tanked when he goes out in Cinci. Not a retirement, admittedly.
