When I said I didn't much want him to go deep, I didn't mean to go out in only the second match! Ernests has picked up his game again. Even if Andy scrapes through this there is the problem of Fish next, and Andy usually has problems with him.

Saying that for a QF match in a Masters event it could be alot tougher.

He is looking increasingly tired and drained.

I know there was some discussion re tiredness yesterday and I didn't see that match, and yes I think Andy can sometimes look worse than it is when things not going well, but that guy is pretty drained and that's contributing to the position.

Yes, he is also not playing well at times.

You reckon? If it had been anybody but Andy I would have switched off!

It's interesting anyway  smile     as Gulbis keeps making a pretty good effort not to win a match that has been there for him.

TB. Andy hasn't been too good at tbs this year - anybody know what Ernie's record is like?

Cpmmy on bet365 says Gulbis had a 11-4 record in TB's this year, but this iss pretty horrible for him so far.

Murray *5-1

Well he got there,  phew

Good fight when it mattered and nice to see that he seemed to give that final service quite a bang so hopefully more tacticallly rolling in first serves much of the time.

Anyway special thanks to Ern for how not to play important points.

Don't know how much Andy is concerned about the 4th ranking place but if so would Roddick please settle it against Sod and then he wont have to bother about that matter any more.
