I just want the win - don't much care how it happens although it's obviously more satisfying if he wins by playing well. Double break now so looking much better.
I see he came through, thank goodness. I had to go out at 10pm (the time my other half insists on, as by then Tesco is not full of kids running all over. I whinge if he wants to finish watching something on tv after 10, as I hate going so late, so I couldn't very well say I wanted to watch the end of the match. . .)
I don't have very much hope of him beating Nalby - he never has, in their 2 previous meetings - but I will cross everything and hope.
Their first meeting though is still a great memory, giving Nalby the run around for 2 sets on his Wimbledon debut, just turned 18, before he ran out of puff
In retrospect I don't suppose Nalby played particularly well that day, and he's certainly playing well just now from his recent results and some of what I saw vs Sod. Looked rather better than Andy !
Anyway can't see Andy running out of puff tomorrow ( Nalby maybe should after all the matches he's played recently in his comeback, but I wouldn't count on that ), it was indeed maybe partly that day that made Andy the slave to fitness training that he became.
Match on !

In his post match interview Andy says that the last time they played was after his wins in Madrid and St Petersburg when he was quite tired. An excuse, maybe, but it will be interesting to see if Nalby is quite tired after his run of matches following a return from injury.
