Dammit. I really thought he would win tonight; I was worried about the idea of him facing Tipsarevic, but with a H2H of 4-0 against Querrey I thought he would get his first title of 2010.

As I said in the opening post fate has seemed with Querrey this week. He should have lost in the quarters and semis. Final set was a typical example of his week. Murray pushed Querrey in nearly every service game, held 3 of his own service games for the loss of one point (a double fault) but played one game where he not only gave Querrey the break but he gift wraped it for him (1 missed volley and 3 unforced errors).
All in all this week was a decent work out for Murray ahead of the 3 big events coming up. Sure he will be annoyed that he lost tonight but in the grand scheme of things I doubt he will see it as a big deal.
PS: After watching this on Eurosport I will never* say a bad word about Leif Shiras again. Annoying his he maybe at least he knows his stuff.
* I will try my best anyway.

Yes, I'm really glad he did compete here, which I think will be helpful, but the result was not ultra-important.
Atr this stage still a bit to work on so not at his best, which is why he finds himself losing to Querrey, who while I generally think too much can be made of H2Hs I do think should suit Andy's game.
