Oliver Golding was a late withdrawal here, leaving British interest with Natalie Beazant and Fran Stephenson. Both have testing but winnable opening matches

Not a good day on their return to clay, though they did combine to win a round in doubles

Fran and Natalie had a good win today over a Belgian/Dutch pair - one of which had won 6 Grade 1 or 2 doubles titles this year

I don't have any scores yet, but it appears from the oop that Natalie and Fran have become the first all-British girls team to reach a Grade 1 final this year

Congratulations to Natalie and Fran on their first Grade 1 title. While several girls such as Heather, Laura and Jade Curtis have won Grade 1 doubles titles, I can't recall an all-British pairing doing so in recent years.
