RE: Wimbledon - QF - Andy vs Jo-Wilfried Tsonga

That's close, but you're right, USO would be the more realistic overtake point.

Well, all this talk of Andy winning Wimbledon is a little vicarious on my part. Now that Fed's gone we know there's going to be a changing of the guard and it rather feels like the final has opened up for whoever is the winner of Andy vs Rafa, so I'm getting a little ahead of myself!

If Andy makes it past Rafa and into the final, I'll be happy... but then again if he makes it to the final, I've got to say he has a good chance of winning it!

If Andy gets past Rafa and faces Berdych, I'd say he was favourite for the title. If he faced Djokovic, I think it'd be 50-50, or say 60-40 in Djokovic's favour since he has the experience to draw upon and seems to have hit a run of form here.

I think the difficult part will be getting past Nadal.

I must say, the prospect of "Tomas Berdych, Wimbledon Champion 2010" is quite disconcerting.

But was Krajicek ever a Pick'em serial muppeter?

Very close match for the first couple of sets and Tsonga leaving that ball is what in the end turned the match his way. It wasn't even that difficult a volley for Tsonga, and had he won that point, he probably would have won the tiebreak and may have gone on to win.

Murray though capitalised on that excellently by getting up a break in the next two sets quickly and giving Tsonga no chance to build momentum and the chance of a comeback, and when Tsonga dropped serve at the start of the 4th he gave up any hope.

Getting better throughout this tournament and even though Rafa will be a very tough opponent, it is a match that Murray can win.

Haase and Petzschner took Nadal to five by serving big and taking chances, and Murray is a much better player than those two, so if he can execute a similar game plan, he should be able to cause Nadal trouble... and he should be able to play at a high level for longer than them and long enough to get close to winning.
