H2H is 3-0 to Andy, two in 2008 on hard and one in 2006 on grass at Newport. Sam is about six months younger than Andy and has improved a heck of a lot since they last met.
Barring a bad day at the office, Andy should take it I think.
Benneteau or Tsonga in the quarters if Andy can take a win against Sam. Tsonga could prove a real test. Hopefully another straight sets win for Andy will set him up for the QF's.

At the moment, the potential semi-final is likely to be against Soderling rather than Nadal, given how impressive Soderling has been and how Nadal has struggled against Haase and Petzschner, and unless Nadal significantly upps his game, Soderling will just hit through him.
Yup, I agree that Soderling looks exceptionally good this year. I was amazed that he was not in Jonny Mac's 6 potential Wimby winners in the daily roundup a couple of nights ago. I can't see Rafa taking a set off him.

Depends if Andy plays at his best against Querrey/Tsonga. To be sure, the semi is where it gets really hard for him, whether he faces Nadal or Soderling. But he's got to get through these two matches first.
Wimbledon Second Monday has been a bit of a tussle for Andy the past two years. Gasquet in 2008, and then a repeat of a five set struggle last year against Stan Wawrinka. Against Querrey I'm hoping he can break the cycle and pull out a straight sets win.

Another straights set win which means Murray still hasn't dropped a set (the only one left in the tournament) and he is still looking pretty good.
Needs to get the first serve percentage up a bit as a better player than Querrey would have done more damage, and it is something that Tsonga could exploit if he happens to be on one of his days where his returns land in the court.
But very impressive in the rest of his game and other than the slight wobble at the end of the first set, never looked like he wouldn't win.
Think he may drop a set against Tsonga, but no more than that, and he should make the semi's here again.
great win, all this attention of the football has done andy well i feel, its like no one knows wimb is on, however if i he beats ali in the qfs the media will hype it up i feel.
