Andy is third on Centre Court, play begins at 1pm.

Simon's had a very poor year, but all of the results can be discounted due to the fact he has pretty much missed all of the year through injury, or just coming back from injury, and in reaching the QF's in Eastbourne last week he is steadily getting better.

Even so, Simon at his best would not be too much of a problem for Murray on a grass court, and anything other than a straight sets win would be a bit of a surprise.

Andy and Simon on court. Straight sets, I think.

Straight sets. Easy first set, reasonably easy second and third sets.

6-1 6-4 6-4.

His opponent is still unknown, as Querrey and Malisse are in a fifth set still ongoing.

biggrin I thought so. At least the second and third sets were indeed close scorelines - only one break of serve for Andy to claim them by.

Fairly comfortable win for Andy in the end, although had Simon started the match like he played in the final set it would have been a lot closer.

Querrey should be a step up in the next round, but even though he won Queens, he still doesn't look that at ease on a grass court, and his superior serve was the only reason he beat Malisse today.
