It was a good day in doubles as well with just Ollie losing in round 1 (plus Kyle & Luke in round 2)

Great win for Ollie. Kubler lost a bit of composure in the middle of the second set. After that I always felt that Ollie would win provided he didn't let Kubler get ahead early in the third (he just gave him one chance, which he quickly snuffed out) . The Aussie is used to winning easily so doesn't have many close matches, and looked vulnerable in tight situations.
QF
Oliver Golding v (9) Renzo Olivo (ARG) 1st on court 12 (12 noon)
Great win for Ollie and decent impression of Rafa. Will probably have to raise his game to another level to lift the title though. Does anyone know whether his QF opponent is tougher than today's.
Was watching Miss Dean's match so didn't see much of this. Best man won on the day from the bits I did see.

Looked pretty useful from the little I saw of his match against Lewis, and he had a good win today against Vesely, who I watched quite a bit in the Trofeo Bonfiglio. I don't expect it will be any easier (or harder), but at least Ollie watched him play against Ashley so he will not be taken by surprise.
He isnt playing anywhere near as well as yesterday at the moment, but Lloyd has always been more pessimistic about British tennis than others, but often with good reason.
