So nice to have a truly home-grown star- Robson still has the opportunity to play GB against Oz and has trained a lot abroad. Olly seems to be as English as they come.

What a result...fab Olly !!

....I just hope Draper doesnt drag the poor lad out into the open and say 'look we are doing a great job...Olly is the next Murray !".....

Golding always had the talent but seemed capable to throwing away any match in any situation.

A few months ago he would probably have lost a close match like this but the improvement in his mental game has been huge to the point where he is able to win these matches now.

Having beaten the world number one, he must have a chance in the next round and to maybe even go on and win the event, and then take this form back into the senior game and start picking up the ranking points.

Fabulous from Oli - Kubler is ATP top 800 too, despite still playing juniors. Brits have now taken out both of the top 2 seeds in this event! biggrin

Next up for Oli is (9) Renzo Olivo (ARG) ATP WR 906.

I cant see any reason why she would do that. she would have everything lose and little to gain. She would lose the support of the wimbledon crowd, and it isnt like the Aussies are too upset she represents Britain

Robbo has been in England since she was 6. Both her tennis and school education have been in England, so she is definitely a "homegrown talent"
