Great win for Golding today and he must have a great chance of taking the title now having dispatched two players ranked higher than anyone left in the draw.
Took a while for him to get going in this match and he struggled for the opening set, but played a very good final set and took his chance when it came, and he is starting to win more and more close matches which is always a good sign.
Mitchell's senior record isn't that impressive and he hasn't been losing to top players every time, so it is a match that Golding can win, and as long as he doesn't end up wanting it too much and putting far too much pressure on himself, and expect him to win the semi-final.
Morgan/Burton looking very good, up 4-6 7-5 *4-2 against the top seeds.
I think they're both players who can do well at senior level when they get to it as they hit the ball so hard for their age now! Serves and volleys look very good.

Facundo Arguello is in the other semi though. He had the highest ATP ranking in the draw at 679.
Though Marsalek did beat him in the final of Roehampton last week.
Morgan & Burton prevailed 11 - 9 in the third against the no 1 seeds and Broady & Farquharson beat the no 3 seeds, both pairs now into the quarter finals.
Watched all two hours of Ollie's match today and I am ecstatic. I was up outta the armchair similiar to ollie at the end of the match.lol
Was good to see Ollie thinking out there today, he made adjustments (such as running around the forehand on Olivo's 2nd serve), it shows that he's not just a brainless heavy hitter.
And yes, what in the lord were the commies smoking today. At one point Lloyd stated, and I quote verbatim "he hasn't got what it takes". Go suck a lemon you sauerkraut 'has-been'. No, in fact, he wasn't even a 'has-been', he's a 'never-was'.

Ashley & Richard make it 3 into the quarter-finals winning 16-14 in the third - a fine effort against the second seeds. They had a couple of matchpoints earlier in the set and held their own serves comfortably in the later stages to keep the pressure on. They looked like a team who play together often (which they do) whilst Lewis and George weren't always on the same wavelength.
Burton/Morgan v Fucsovics/Salaba (HUN/CZE) 4th on court 5 (7) Clezar/Fernandes (BRA) v Broady/Farquharson 2nd on court 18 Biryukov/Rumyantsev (RUS) v Gabb/Hewitt 3rd on court 5

The BBC brought in their 'A' team commentary duo for this match, and I am surprised AC said what he said. Always known to be the most positive GB commentator sticking up for Andy when most others weren't and backing Boggo when being recently interviewed at Queens.
They seem to forget that Ollie isn't 17 yet and to have these results at his age is exceptional. His power of shot is undeniable and without doubt assuming he retains his current work ethic he should have a very decent top 100 senior career. Up until last month I thought speed around the court was imperative but having seen how the power players have started to take over ( Berdych and Soderling, Kivitova in the Ladies ) give me power over speed any day of the week. Of course both would be better.
On paper his SF matchup looks easier than his last two matches, so I would be disappointed not to see him in the final.
As I said I was really pretty encouraged by Ollie's performance, certainly more so than our commentator duo. It is the first time I have really seen him at length with a decent picture.
The next couple of years are going to very important in his progression. At this stage I'find it rather too early to predict him as a likely top 100 player and how high he could ultimately go. There's huge depth in the men's game and it will take a lot to get there. So much will be down to him himself, his work ethic and williness to learn and improve on his weak areas. I do agree power which he already has is so important.
Anyway, not too bad at all at the moment and I will be very interested to see how he progresses.
Laura was 14 and a quarter when she won in 2008. She is now sixteen and a quarter, but today's commentator said she is sixteen and a half.
Hey. a chance to defend a commentator
Laura was born 21/01/94 ( err not 84 as I put originally ) so is near enough 16 and a half, which is what I'd call her if we were going there, I certainly wouldn't call her 16 and a quarter. It's not like full ages that you have to pass your actual birthday.
Back to Ollie, yes, I have thought he has come across well in interview. He is a pretty confident lad and done some quite serious acting. I'm sure he means what he says though I have yet to hear the interviewee that has said that they think that they have made it and don't intend to work to improve their weaknesses.
