The world N° 4 vs the world N° 108... They've met only once before, in the first round of the Madrid Masters in 2006, when it was still played on hard courts. Andy won by 2 & 4. He's reportedly feeling "bullish" about his chances in Baron's Court & he should win, but... Third match on the centre court tomorrow, after the conclusion of the Boggo/Dimitrov encounter & Monfils (6) vs Schüttler. I'll go for an Andy win.
Should be a nice opener to the grass court season for Murray against a man who has a bit of pedigree on the surface but is out of form and has no real chance of an upset.
Anything other than a straight sets win for Murray would be a surprise and a bit worrying, although if Navarro serves and volleys well, he could sneak himself towards a tiebreak or keep it down to one break a set.
This is why i would like WC's for Eaton and Inglot on grass. Navarro is serve volleying 100% and hes doing very well against Andy as this is pressure tennis.
