Eleanor Dean made her long-awaited debut on the junior ITF circuit this week, unusually after her first senior tournaments. It's a case of so far so good, with 6 straight sets wins in qualifying and main draw.

(Q) Eleanor Dean (GBR) d. (5) Karolina Pondusova (SVK) 6-3 6-4
Eleanor maintains her run of sets to make the final on her debut. Something has to give tomorrow as the top seed has been equally impressive, dropping no more than a handful of games in each match
SF
(Q) Eleanor Dean (GBR) d. Vladica Babic (MNE) 6-4 6-2
Final
(1) Gabriela Pantuckova (CZE) v (Q) Eleanor Dean (GBR)
They played in the 14s nationals final last August with Eleanor winning in three sets. Eleanor is touted as a bigger prospect than Katy I think, or at least I consider her a bigger prospect. Both are exciting though, if you ask me.
I wonder what her grass court game is like. If its comparable with her clay court game I think she deserves a crack at junior wimbledon either into qualifying or maybe main draw as an outside bet.
