Luke Bambridge plays his third and final Grade 4 in Florida. His opening opponent shouldn't be too problematic - he hasn't won an ITF singles match this year and was double-bagelled last week

I was speaking to Leon Smith at the Newcastle futures tournament today and I mentioned Luke to him as having great potential for the future. He said in reply that Luke's biggest attribute was his huge desire to win. He then added that kyle Edmund arguably had a bigger game.

very efficient from Luke, and should now be in the top 400, win the tourny and he will be on the verge of top 300.
Weird one up next for luke, Watson playing his first itf event, and qualified for it, he's born in 1993, weird he hasn't played before. Impossible to know what to expect

Gordon Watson is an American who was their top under 14, and has recently returned from a debilitating disease to win a big under 16 title. You can read more here:
Top seed then in the semi, he's outside the top 200 (just), so luke has beaten better players, has a career high of 157.
He was actually on a 6 match losing streak earlier in the year, hence the drop to G4 i guess. He only ended the streak by reaching the quarters at the event luke reached the final last week

Shame, but been a good two weeks and will be inside the top 400 now, and don't forgot this is clay. Outclassed? or fatigue(played 11 matches in as many days)? not sure
Pity, but with a final and semi Luke has made more impact at this level than Liam did at the same stage last year. There's still a chance of a title here
