Without doubt Katy is our best 95 girl but still with a long way to go to be considered in the same league as Laura or Heather. I worry about her lack of size and her movement around the court.
Congrats Katy, what a rise! Definitely one our brightest young talents.
Out of curiosity, who was the last Brit to win back to back junior titles and whats her schedule like in the next few months?
The last girl to win back to back junior titles was Francesca Stephenson in Edinburgh last July. I don't know Katy's long-term schedule, but I noticed she was down for a Turkish Grade 4 in May. These two wins give her ranking which will give her the chance to tackle higher Grade events shortly.

It should be noted that Katy is in advance of Heather at the same stage of her ITF junior career. It was October 2007 before Heather produced a comparable result (final of a Grade 3).
Her size may prove to be an issue in the pro game if she doesn't grow much more, but her movement looked good to me when I saw her last year.
Glad to hear that Katy's movement is better than I thought. I had only watched a youtube clip from the Eddie Herr last year so that is heartening to hear.
I suppose in comparison with Heather it all depends on how she can improve over the next couple of years. If she as gets as good as Heather or even better that will be great news for British tennis.
