Katy lost 5-7 6-3 5-7: the scores, but not the results are on the OOP, but Katy's opponent is playing tomorrow.cry.gif

Well spotted - I had used the drawsheet for the results, as the ITF don't have them, but neglected to look at the oop.  Disappointing result, but being able to play little tennis in the past 3 months she will probably take a little while to find her form.

Excellent from Kyria. A win from Abbi Melrose will put two Sussex girls into R3.

I suppose the 3rd seed might be a bit much to ask of Kyria on paper, but junior girls rankings can sometimes be a bit misleading.

Abbi fulfils your wish smile The third seed, Pia Konig, has played against a number of Brits in the last year with mixed success, but given she took a set off Jennifer Ren and beat Jo Horne another win for Kyria would be a very good result

Turned out that Emma and Morven made something of that disastrous day, and won their first match on the Friday too, before falling 4 & 4 in the final to the number 1 seeds.
