No official results yet, but according to a press report Jack lost a thriller to the top seed, who is apparently part coached by Larry Passos (Gustavo Kuerten's former coach) 6-4 4-6 7-6(3) in 2hrs 45 minutes.
Score was confirmed, so a very good effort by Jack against a top player. In round 2 it's Ashley's turn to take on a home star, while Jack and Ashley were the only success in the first round of doubles.
