Boys & Girls: Costa Rica Bowl - Grade 3 (Week 10)


Natalie Beazant made her first appearance since retiring in Ecuador, having been offered a wildcard. Although failing to progress in singles she has reached the doubles final, but Damian Gryzelko was unable to match his recent doubles title.

Boys R1

Stefano Napolitano (ITA) d. Damian Gryzelko (GBR) 2-6 6-1 6-2

Girls R1

(Q) Ashley Dai (USA) d. (1, WC) Natalie Beazant (GBR)  2-6 6-1 7-5

Doubles Final

(1) Beazant/Sanesi (GBR/ITA) v Cedermark/ Ravita (SWE/INA)

Am I right in thinking that's our first girls title in singles or doubles above G4 level this year?

First since Heather's slam. There's been occasional finalists like Jennifer Ren this week, and Lucy Brown in Thailand but we've been reliant on Heather for big titles for a while.
