The article talks a lot about her doubles partner , who asked for anonymity in this report - thats obviously Emina Bektas. The question is why she wants anonymity?

A bit pointless requesting anonymity when the results are a matter of public record. I've read elsewhere that they've split up, you would have expected them to play together again otherwise. Perhaps she didn't believe in Tara's innocence?

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion. It's hard enough to clear your name even if you are innocent in cases like this, especially if you're not at the very top, so I think the original charges getting dropped is quite compelling. I imagine something like what happened to Tara can put an immense strain on a relationship, even more so if you were business partners as well, which is effectively what doubles partners are. For example, one could blame the other person for not being even more careful even if you know they didn't do anything wrong deliberately. It's pointless speculating though, only they know, but Emina might just have not wanted anything to do with the article, for any one of a myriad of possible reasons.

Tara seems to have been given a special (protected) ranking after all, because she is in the Evansville W60 main draw with it. The least the WTA could do under the circumstances but at least they have done it now.

Good news re the SR for Tara. Is this a first for someone coming back from a ban having clears their name? Cant recall of one before, not to say it hasnt happened.

It's a new rule introduced in May.

She's had the SR for about a month and played Birmingham (doubles) and Wimbledon WC play-offs using it. She also entered Wimbledon (doubles) with it, although, as we know, she missed the cut and played with a WC.

Not the first time this year I've mixed up points and prize funds and it probably won't be the last!

I see that Tara's in a W75+H this week in Canada. So the SR/PR is ongoing?
It seems a long road back, so wishing her well.
