According to Bob Brett and Andy Roddick Cilic has an excellent temperament and attitude. I think he's still developing into his frame and as a player etc... but I can see him competing with Djoko, Rafa and JMDP for WR 2-6 over the next few years.
Fed and Murray to be 1 & 2 for a time to come though
Should be an interesting match up. Right now Andy looks fit and in form. I suspect he'll be a bit too much for Cilic over 3 or 4 sets. - Just watching Tsonga vs Djokovic - When will the Serb give the proper respect to his opponents and concede that maybe just now and then they'' be just a bit better than him and 'possibly' be worthy winners, without the need to exaggerate any 'problem' he might think he has? It's a pity - he's a bit of character off court; just the sort of guy the game needs who can make the sport just a bit more interesting.

I am very hopeful for this match and predict Andy winning in 3 or 4 sets and reaching Round 7
Cilic did beat him in straight sets in the US Open but it was a very subdued performance from Andy and it was later confirmed that he already then had issues with his wrist that he was later to aggravate further in the Davis Cup and then had to have a number of weeks out.
I don't see Cilic's longer matches being a huge issue, although on balance Andy should clearly be the fresher. Nor is Cilic to be underestimated, he has great talent although did not play well when I saw him earlier in the tournament v Tomic. Just that I am confident that Andy has the form, and more importantly can retain the form, to win this match.

got to be looking good for his 2nd slam final here. No sets dropped in the event. Cilic has played some many more it must amount to another full match or 2. and really, in the current era, thsi is a very nice draw. Cilic is a good player, but we were all very shocked that Andy lost to him in the US and i think we'd all be shocked again if Andy doesn't win.

Andy would have to bottle this big time to lose and the number of hours Cilic has played so far in this tournament is a big factor IMO. He has had three long five set matches and he even admitted himself in his last press conference that he was struggling with fatigue a bit.
Mrs Pessimism here is reasonably confident of this one. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have lost so tamely to Cilic at the USO if he had not had a problem - as soon as he came out for that match I noticed that he looked troubled and flat.
I'm hoping that when they show the players walking down to the court tomorrow, they will show Andy singing along with his ipod as he was yesterday waiting for Nadal. Then I will relax and push the cushions, tranquilisers and defibrillator further away (though maybe not quite out of reach)
