having a quick look at the rankings and i see golding is at the point where he must get to the quarters to get any ranking points, so must out do junior WR 6 to improve ranking, tough ask. Because of this it is clear he must be solid in grade A's, to take advantage of bigger point oppurtunities

Yes, in fact all three need to reach Grade 1 QFs to count as one of their top 6 events, though Tom has a lot of leeway in doubles.
Olly has a good draw initially. Grinter had a strong summer but tailed off towards the end of the year when he got into the top tournaments (but did beat Liam and Lewis in Orange Bowl qualifiers), so Jack should have a good chance. Micke Kontinen is the brother of the 2008 Wimbledon junior finalist Henri, and chalked up wins against Tom Farquharson and Nick Jones last year. He will start as favourite on hard courts against Tom Allen I think.
Amusing to see the world number 2 having to come through qualifying - at least they have given Gianni Mina a WC for the Australlian Open.
ooo golding plays dan evans 1st round opponent, that could be interesting, he gave dan a good test. Anyone else see Mina(miny monflis) WR2 and number 1 seed dumped out in straights first round, 7 of the 16 seeds went out first round, including seeds 1 and 2

Pretty much as expected so far. Semenzato has a good win-loss record in recent months, but Liam beat him in Orange Bowl qualifying, so hopefully Jack can dish out a repeat
Not good but partially predictable. Ollie has shown signs of running out of gas after a gruelling schedule. It's strange George Morgan seems to me to not play enough whilst Ollie does the opposite.
