RE: Boys: Slovak Junior Indoors - Grade 2 (Week 2)

QF

(7) Tom Farquharson (GBR) d. (16) Filip Strnad (CZE) 6-4 6-3
Liam Broady (GBR) d. (13) Ashley Hewitt (GBR) 6-1 6-2

SF

(7) Tom Farquharson (GBR) v (4) Tim Nekic (GER)
Mathias Wunner (GER) v Liam Broady (GBR)

Wunner is on a bit of a roll, having won 1 event and reached the final of another in Sweden already this year.

Liam probably has to win the tournament to make the top 100 because of points being added by other players (for instance all the other semi-finalists, currently outside 100 will be ahead of him) with few points coming off.

Some players develop later and have games more suited to the ATP than juniors so don't write Ashley off yet!

He's had a great week hiding behind Broady's success
