6 /32.  The percentage ( OK fraction  smile  )  gets better and better.

Bt yes, it did look as if they in general got a really good draw in the first round and the hard work looks as if it will really start now.

Best of luck to all of them..

Something to do with all the non-GBR parentheses holding numbers which all the GBR ones hold "Q"s.

I'm thinking 2 winners would be a good result.

Remarkable that in the previous 10 years of the Orange Bowl there have been between 0 and 4 or 5 Brits with a cumulative total of 6 first round winners, yet we manage 8 entrants and 6 first-round winners this time. The flip side of good draws first round is that you run into seeds after they have played a match, and are usually less vulnerable. They are all second favourites, but hopefully someone will excel and create an upset.

The upshot of George's wins is that I calculate that he will join Olly in the top 100 on January 1st giving us two 1993 boys with 2 years left of their junior careers.

Andy has tweeted an update and it is good news with wins for Carpenter, Golding and Morgan.

And judging from the OOP that probably means Farquharson lost.

You'd have to say that is a spectacular effort.I had a sneeky suspicion that George and Ollie might win but Jack's is a huge shock given the scoreline from last week.
