Well that was tough watching....but it is good how Muzza can still win against these big hitting players...bit naive at times Verdasco....cant see MY troubling Murray.

I thought the fact the ATP shoved his 6-1 record at the bottom of their website was a sign that suggested he was gonna lose! I HATE that thing at the bottom, particularly when in articles they mention "has a 6-1 winning record, etc" - HOWEVER, good result Mr Murray happy.gif

Great chance in the final, although it's nice to see Youzhny back to better form. He's a great player to watch when he's proper on but I suspect Andy will win.

phew.gif That was a bit of a nail-biter!  Well done, Andy. Another final! yippee.gif

I hope Adidas don't put Andy into a shirt like Verdasco's. It looked like a giant orange that had been run over by a tractor.

The Spaniard has awesome fire-power, but is apt to be too impatient, I think.

Completely agree...Verdasco just cant help himself at times....at the start of the 3rd set I was waiting for him to go off the boil and try and end rallies after 2 or 3 returns...and he missed several in a row. Andy however was not as mobile as he could have been and if Verdasco could have been a little more patient it could have went to a TB.

If Verdasco had been slightly on his game tonight, he would have won.

Have to agree with you, wolf, Nando was far too impatient  for his own good. Am I alone in finding Andy's lapses in 2nd sets worrying or are we putting it down to a lack of matches due to injury? I'm glad he won, but...
