Good to be starting one of these threads again. The match will be third on the Stadium Court, after the Almagro/Ferrer encounter, which is scheduled to kick off at 14.00 GMT (technically the fifth, but the first of the first two gets under way at 10.00 GMT). There is no head-to-head, as these two have not played one another before. Even after a six-week lay-off, a pretty straightforward match for Andy, I'd have thought.
Phew - got a bit worried when 4-0 turned into 4-3, especially as I was only on livescore at the time. Thankfully there didn't seem to be much of a problem and it's great to have Andy back winning once more. Good day today.
Nice gentle opener to ease himself back on to the circuit. Wish he wouldn't play about with my nerves, though. Rushing through to a 4-0 lead in the 1st set and then allowing his oppo to get back within stiking distance. Perhaps he was toying with him!! Mr G-T was thoroughly p****d off by the end.
