Stefan Sterland-Markovic is having a good week here so far. I notice that his most recent victim claims grass as his favourite surface, despite the lack of such courts in Russia and never having played on it in an ITF event - perhaps a tongue-in-cheek comment.

(4) Stefan Sterland-Markovic (GBR) v (5) Erik Moberg (SWE)
Doubles SF
(1) Igoshin/Karlovskiy (RUS) v (3) Moberg (SWE) / Sterland-Markovic (GBR)
One out of two for Stefan, who may need a bigger trophy cabinet soon, as he bags his fifth doubles title of the year. All the titles though have been in Grade 4 or 5 events, which restricts his ability to progress up the rankings far. Nevertheless he should enter the top 250 for the first time on Monday.
