Brits in world top 100s - singles and doubles

Wow, thank you for this ladies and gents. I never knew that we never had a British number 1 on the Womens side. I would love to see a list of all the British players that have made it into the top 100.
Im not sure if any such list has ever been produced but thanks again for this though.

Maybe nobody is interested in this, but I just thought it would be good to get a list of the British top 100 club.

 Yes, they are the ones, thanks.  Although they only go back to 1990,so missing a few.

No, at least 22, for you can add Katie O'Brien CH 84 ( confirmed on the ITF site ), as revealed in Jon's link to Aberdaberdonian's post 

I should have probably thought of Katie at the same time as I was adding Mel South of the same vintage. Though Mel more came to mind because I recalled her just sneaking into the top 100.

I was only talking about Katie OBrien last week.
So thats 2 Katies I forgot.
Its probably something to do with there, being too many Katies in British tennis.
