Andy marches on with a solid performance against Dent.
Andy currently has a H2H of 3-0 against Cillic, with a straight set win at RG earlier this year and another straight set win at the Madrid Masters (hard) last year.
Tournament really starts here for Andy. Cilic is certainly a step up in quality from his first 3 opponents although I don't see it as a bad draw.
I think he has had a very solid first 3 matches save the AWOL set against Gulbis. At his best he has shown what I certainly already thought, that he is a really serious contender for the title this year.
He does seem to match up well and has won all 3 matches against Cilic with the last a comfortable win at Roland Garros although not either's best surface.
Although his 3 matches so far have been fairly comfortable I would hope that if and when the pressure comes on against Cilic, Andy will be ready and able.
I do have that nagging concern that sometimes in later stages of Grand Slams, Andy just sometimes has an off day, no matter his record against the specific opponent.
Indeed some of his recent Grand Slam results go against his clear record against opponents :
eg. losses to Verdasco and Roddick and I guess even Federer and that first ever win against Nadal last year.
Although some match ups are obviously better for Andy ( as with all players ), and all things being equal that should help, to me it is much more important simply how he ( and his opponent, eg. a fairly inspired Roddick at Wimbledon ) perform on the day, as opposed to past match records.
Putting that out of my thoughts ( and hopefully out of other folks ) I take Andy to win in 3, possibly 4 sets.
This match is scheduled as third on Arthur Ashe after Bryan brothers doubles match and Clijsters v Li Na quarter final ( which starts not before 12.30 ).
So, I would guesstimate an evening kick-off say between 7 and 8 pm BST
Rafa taking a turn at doing the night match v Monfils.
JMDP is on Louis Armstrong for the 4th match in a row. I hope they're not going to mug Andy and schedule the quarter with JMDP ( if it comes to pass ) on Louis Armstrong
