Originally there were a lot of British girls due here, but all bar Daneika Borthwick pulled out in the last few days. If successful in her opener she is likely to come up against a top 100 player in round 2.

Excellent result, and her first win I think over someone in the top 100. Makes it 7 wins in a row in ITF tournaments.

She won a couple of Grade 3s and made the quarters of a grade 1, and she's won a heap of doubles titles if i remember
