The return of Andy Murray to action after Wimbledon and he's ended up in what on first glance looks to be the toughest quarter of all, but the good news is that most of the dangerous floaters are in the other half of the quarter, so he'll only face one of them.
Has a bye in round one, then either Yen-Tsun Lu or Jeremy Chardy in the second round.
Round three is seeded to be against Monfils, but perhaps more likely it could be Safin or Hewitt, while in the quarter finals he's seeded to play Davydenko, but that section includes Gonzo, Berdych, Haas and Karlovic as well, so anyone could come out of it.
In Federer's half of the draw, presuming both of them get there.
Not a bad draw all things considered for Murray and he should have a nice opening match, and then his 3rd round match shouldn't be too difficult either, but Haas/Safin/Monfils will be a test.
Could be a tough quarter final, but whoever comes out of the section will have played a few tough matches, and I'd rather it wasn't Davydenko who Murray had to face in the last eight.
But should be looking at semi finals here, and possibly further.
Pretty tough match. Not as bad as poor Monfils, who would need to beat Safin then Hewitt to live up to his seeding! Chardy could be a tough match, I'll be interested to see how Murray does here though, since #2 is in sight.
Andy's doing his mate, Hutch, a favour and turning out in the doubles, or is this a sneaky rehearsal for the DC? They are playing tomorrow against that well-known team, The Alternates! Kas and Troicki, who they should have been playing appear to have gone AWOL.
Did suspect that Andy and Hutch would be here and it was just a question of whether or not they'd make the cut.
Seems that people don't want to face Hutchins though with Troicki/Kas pulling out... not too sure who they'll end up facing, but hopefully they can get the win and it's a nice way to easing Murray back into matches.
Bit of news in Murray's section of the draw as well... the qualifier to play Hewitt in round one has been drawn, and it's Juan Carlos Ferrero!!!
Could be a third round opponent for Murray, but if he does get through, I wouldn't expect him to pose any more of a threat than Hewitt/Monfils/Safin would.
