Khunpak Issara THA WR54 v (WC) Alexandra Walker GBR Court 9 2nd match
Alex has a good draw against someone who has played very little this year, and lost to Steph Cornish in China, but Alex's form this year does not inspire confidence.
(WC) Jocelyn Rae GBR v (7) Sloane Stephens USA WR7 Court 15 3rd match
This could be a great match. Sloane has a 16-1 record in top junior tournaments this year, thrashing Laura en route to a Grade A title. She has no track record on grass though, and may not have encountered someone who serves as big as Jos.
(12) Heather Watson GBR v Valeria Solovieva RUS WR35 Court 19 1st match
This is a tough test for Heather, against a former Junior Orange Bowl winner, who is based in Miami, and who has performed strongly this year after a lay-off.
(WC) Jennifer Ren GBR v Nastja Kolar SLO WR64 Court 6 3rd match
Jen started the year well by winning a tournament in Sweden, but then suffered a 3 month lay-off and has struggled to find form since. This is a good draw though, against a 14 year old claycourter.
(6) Timea Babos HUN WR5 v (WC) Tara Moore GBR Court 8 4th match
The Gosling based Hungarian has been very consistent this year, and has become a Brit-basher in both junior and women's ITF events, edging out Naomi Broady in the Edinburgh final. The pair played last week, with Babos winning in 3 sets.
Katareena Paliivets CAN WR50 v (2) Laura Robson GBR Court 14 4th match
This match has been scheduled for a televised court, and will probably be available via the BBC website. The Canadian's record doesn't suggest that she will pose too big a problem for Laura. Laura's main challenge in the early rounds here is coping with the expectations being placed on her.
