Congratulations on the 500th post, Murrayman. It's always good to see the Murrayman scoreboard whenever Andy takes to the court!

To anyone who watched the whole of this match (I only saw the last 2 games): did Andy serve and volley and if so, how often ?

He did, but not often - I only remember 2 or 3 times, though it might have been more - I wasn't watching for it.

It seemed to me that Andy was rather treating this as a grass practice match - especially slice. He rarely exerted himself much, but then he didn't need to, especially in the first set when Seppi was in muppet mode.

The time he dropped his serve in the second set I felt was not because he lost concentration so much as that he was trying different things - I don't know if anybody else got that impression?

I don't think he ever got out of second gear, but then he didn't need to.

It was like a practice match i agree...Seppi was awful though.
The 2nd last pt was worth watching it all on iplayer....he needs more matches on grass to prepare for sw19 hope its 4 more wins.

Seppi was disappointing and never got going at all. Given how he usually gives the top players a good match, I expected more of a fight from him, but after a few games, it seemed as if Murray was in cruise control mode and looked to expend as little energy as possible.
