Robson/Orlik 4-6 3-3* Krunic/Zaniewska Bit of a see-saw set this one with both teams getting opportunities in return games. This time K&Z take it and break back to love. I hate clay...
1-0* 1-1* *2-1 MB for R&O *3-1 4-1* 5-1* 2nd MB for R&O *6-1 3rd MB for R&O *7-1 8-1* 8-2* *9-2 4th MB and 7 MPs
Well that was a bit of a rollercoaster! 2nd set could have gone either way and it looks as if it killed the morale of K&Z. Up next, it's American 7th Seeds Capra and Embree who just destroyed 2 handy French girls 6-2,6-2.
Laura gets to face Zaniewska again in the singles tomorrow 2nd on Court 3. Hopefully will be smoother progress!

Right, thought I ought to have a detailed look at Laura's next opponent now she's our sole representative in the singles draw:
Zaniewska- Juniors #35, Seniors #1080 The 16 year old Pole has already been beaten by Robson earlier this year at Nottinghill in the warm-up to the Aussie Open, but is best suited to clay. Won a Grade 2 event in France beating talented 15 year olds Kolar and Gavrilova as well as top 50 Savinykh and then reached the semis in last week's Grade 1 event in Belgium defeating #16 Cepede Royg in three sets before falling to Hogenkamp.
Looks like a tricky customer, but hopefully Laura will have done her homework on her and today's matches will have built on her confidence from the QF in Italy a fortnight ago.
I was just looking at the stats on the Roland Garros site - Laura served 11 aces in her singles match? That's 3 more than Safina and Azarenka put together for the tournament.
