Laura 2-6 *3-3 Pimkina Out of nowhere Laura gets a couple of BPs which are saved quickly enough. 2 more BPs come and go before the Russian holds on her first GP
Laura 2-6 6-3 Pimkina Another easy hold and Robson appears to have found her range. 1 set all.
Heather 5-7 *2-3 Radovanovic Watson certainly has some spirit and is getting opportunities in return games. 2 more BPs appear, the first disappears quickly but the second stays on the board for what seems like an age...and then we're back on serve! :)
Good comeback from Laura but a little worrying that she got taken to 3 sets again by a limited opponent.
Nevertheless, with (2) Ana Bogdan, #256 (12) Rogowska and Junior Wimbledon finalist (5) Lertcheewakern all losing today and (4) Babos scraping through alongside Junior AO Champion and #156 (3) Pervak locked at 6-6 in the third, she can count herself lucky she's had easier progress than some of her rivals.
I'm back in time to do the scores for her doubles match that'll be starting soon.
EDIT: Only just noticed in time but at least some good news for Steph in the doubles; Cornish/Ormaechea d. Cepelova/Juhaszova 7-6(4), 0-6, 10-8
