Always looked like Andy would outlast Tipsarevic, even when the first set seemed destined to go to the serbian; He did.

Cilic next. Andy will probably need to raise his level from now on.

His goal was to get to the second week, he did, so anything else is a bonus.

Anybody know just what happened to Tipsy? I was watching the match, and I have just watched the end of the first set on the recording, and I'm darned if I can see when he picked up an injury. The commentators were also surprised when the trainer came on the court, they hadn't seen anything either.

Which channel were you watching the match on, because I'm sure the commentators on Eurosport pointed out relatively earlier in the match (maybe around 4-2 in the first set) that Tipsarevic looked to be moving poorly and the fact he seemed to be struggling with something, as he didn't look comfortable on court.

That said, if he had won the opening set (which he should have done), I'm 100% sure he wouldn't have retired at the end of the second set. But if he was hurt, then there's no point carrying on when he's 2-0 down.

Strange match again for Murray. He didn't start well at all and he summed it up best when he said he had nothing on any shots, and he should have lost the first set (and thanks to Tipsy for hitting that volley on set point when the ball was clearly going on), and then Tipsy choked again when serving for it for a third time.

Good tiebreak, but from then on, it was obvious that Tipsy was retiring and he just did enough to move him around the court and win the set.

Don't think it was a great performance from Murray and for parts of it he played quite poorly, but he did enough in the end to win, and once again battled hard to fight back in a set.

Will probably need to step it up a level in the next round though.

I was watching BBCi.

I have since read on another forum that Tipsy picked up the injury in his previous match against Lopez, which accounts for the fact I didn't see anything to cause it.
