At present 3 of our under 14s are in qualifying positions for the end of season Masters. On the girls side Katy Dunne, who has been playing ITF events recently, is currently in the final 8th position.
On the boys side Evan Hoyt in second position is virtually assured of his place, after a semi-final in the Category 1 event in Slovakia last week. Evan teamed up with Luke Bambridge to win the doubles. Luke is currently in the final 8th position, closely followed by Chris Pearce. Most of our top boys are in the AEGON U14 Clay Court Championships this week.
Of the year below (1996 births) Eleanor Dean reached the final of a Category 2 event in Slovenia to join Grace Dixon and Alice Keddie in the top 100, while Shakeel Manji has moved into the top 50 on the boys' side (sixth highest 1996) .
In the AEGON Clay Court Championships Kyle Edmund upset Luke Bambridge in the semis and Evan Hoyt in the final to take the U14 Boys title. Alice Keddie (U14 Girls), Lucas Taylor (U12 Boys) and Lana Rush (U12 Girls) were among the other winners.
