One thing- it mentions mucking around with Dan. Telegraph identifies Dan as Evo. The Mail as Smethurst. Id love it was Evo, suspect Mail had it correct though ?
Snap!! You just got it first.
Simon Briggs picked the wrong Dan which may show up his knowledge. The Daily Mail printed article was abbreviated and did not mention either Dan. However Mike Dickson's online article mentions Dan Smethurst and going to Australia and it makes total sense. George Bellshaw on Metro also has a similar report.
Jo and Heather are in wta 250 in Melbourne in 2nd week of Aussie open
Michal Samulski (@MichalSamulski) Tweeted: WTA250 Melbourne entry list (2nd week of Australian Open), via @Tennis_BTU_ENG t.co/k6TXpEvnPL
If reports on the tennis forum are correct it looks as though Jo changed her mind about playing Abu Dhabi at the last moment. Disappointing for her fans but arguably more efficient in many respects (travel, practice, match fitness, etc) to play the three weeks in Australia as a block (WTA 500, AO and WTA 250 if early exit in AO).

Jo not playing in Abu Dhabi is not a surprise. What with flight difficulties and quarantine in a one off event probably not worthwhile going there.
Like to share this article with anyone who's interested in what what makes Jo tick and how she turned her career around. I guess from the picture this was written c. 2019.
Kontas current mind coach Elena Sosa says there is no-one else around as adept at turning failure into success. Sosa recently told the Telegraph I think Johanna is the best I have seen at processing defeat, she knows exactly what is needed to move on quickly, what you need to take from failure to become better.
An attitude that Jo was recently criticised for in our wonderful press.
and more at the end of her Instagram Ellesse story
Looks healthy and in good spirits.

decent nice hotel rooms they have got - assuming the one Svitolina has is the same for all, it seems to have two joining bedrooms, one kitted out with exercise bike and the other for sleeping and sitting. I hope they all get similar, probably not. Nice views of Melbourne regardless
Svitolina has a pretty spacious suite in Melbourne, but Jo appears to be working out in her one room. I thought Svitolina might have ended up in Adelaide in the elite group, but obviously not.

What qualifies Svitolina for elite group? She is yet to make a major final.

Purely on ranking, being WR5, and a possible for the exhibition event in Adelaide. No major final, but third on the list of current players for consecutive weeks in the top 10 with 171 weeks (after Halep and Pliskova)
Jo's been putting her exercise routine from her hotel room daily on instagram and twitter.

Have any players had any court or gym time yet? I read that Jo had planned to practise with Heather in week 1, who is now in isolation of course and with Kvitova in week 2. Any news there do we know? And what about the other Brits. Can't believe how little info we're getting.
And finally, who is filming Jo? You can just about make out a shadowy figure reflected in the TV screen!!!
Wide ranging interview with Jo here on Australian radio (Jo starts about 1 hour 21 mins into this two hour show). She talks about AO quarantine, being a woman in sport, downplays the retirement story, getting out to restaurants again, seeing her sister and Andy's resilience. Well worth a listen.
