Wide ranging interview with Jo here on Australian radio (Jo starts about 1 hour 21 mins into this two hour show). She talks about AO quarantine, being a woman in sport, downplays the retirement story, getting out to restaurants again, seeing her sister and Andy's resilience. Well worth a listen.

(Jamie is also interviewed about 4 min in).

Thanks TTMan for highlighting the interview. Definitely well worth a listen. Covered a wide range of subjects.

Do we know who was the replacement training partner for Jo in the first week after Hev was quarantined?

No .Had a look on tennis forum Australian Open cohort  thread. Comment 3 days old was there was no mention of Heather' s replacement. Jo's advertising handbags on her latest post.

If you find out please let us know. It would also be nice to know who is in her support team given her coaching situation.

If anything is revealed it will most likely come from the Aussie media as our lot have reported zilch on Jo that hasn't originated from her social media. Jo has been giving interviews down-under so is open to chat. I'm doing my best to monitor media sources outside of the UK.

It's just occurred to me that Jo has probably been giving quite a bit of time to Players Council duties regarding the extra warm up event, priority practice time, etc for the fully locked down players once they get out of quarantine.

I'm sure Jo is getting as much practice time as she can. It was Heather who revealed the practice arrangements. Perhaps Jo doesn't regard who she is practising with of great interest.   Nothing on Jo's media postings about her  practice arrangements.. I remember in the 2nd week here  she was in  a quartet including  Anisimova and Heather . The 4th member was Petra Kvitova.

However, judging by the state of the grip that's a genuine Konta racket poking out of the bag!!

Looks like Jo is playing the WTA 500 in Adelaide (Tennis Forum). I guess she might then move on to Mexico or St Petersburg?

Jo might be regarding it as an insurance policy because  she hasn't got beyond the second round in her last three visits. Her best was her debut year of 2016 with her semi final. Of course in 2020 she was having her knee problems of which we still don't entirely know the position.

I wonder what the quarantine situation would be for either Doha or Monterray.
